The got the program I made to run in a window but when you start it the whole screen goes black before the window opens like its going to run in full screen mode. I was wondering if anybody knew how to make it start like a normal window without the black screen? I dont know if its possible in DB.

Not if you're using 3d hardware, so as soon as you load an object or do any 3d commands at all the 3d card is initialized, giving you the black screen.
Staying in the same resolution as the current windows settings makes less of a jump, but you still get one.
