Which is faster Multiple objects/Limbs?

ie if you have a building with lots of rooms will the game run if you add all the objects as seperate objects or as additional limbs? Is object collision faster if you have used limbs?

I don't think it matters. I believe DB handles limbs as separate objects. But you could try it out.

I dont know if its faster or slower, but you can not detect collision for separate limbs. It will always detect it for object to which limb belongs. If you need to know which limb collided, you have to make them as objects.

Well for rooms I'd suggest using static objects, way faster than either option

ZX Spectrum 48k Issue 3, Radio shack Tape drive, Rank arena 12" T.V. set.

Yeah I thought so...
It's actually for my program map maker 3d...you can make maps in it which run really fast, but then when you put object collision on it slows everything down considerably, as there are normally lots of objects in a map. I just had the idea that it might make collision faster if a map was made up of lots of limbs rather than seperate obejcts.
