This doesn't fit in with the music everyone is talking about, but...
Has anyone ever heard of 'Luther Wright and the Wrongs'?
Especially their 'Rebuild the Wall' cd.

No but that's actually a really cool name for a band, I'll check it out but something tells me that a band with as great a name as that has to be dissapointing to hear...

O.K I just looked them up and they apparently do covers of the worse years of pink floyd.

I like Pink Floyd up to 'the piper at the gates of dawn' and the last song on the 'saucerful of secrets' album, from there I prefer Syd Barrett's cool half formed stuff. That guy made some of the most beautifully twisted music, the later incarnation just made stoner rock stuff that I find incredibly boring. They're like two completely different bands and the only good thing I can say about the later Pink floyd is they came up with some pretty clever studio tricks...

Anything and Everything Pennywise.

Allthough, Hot Water Music have claimed a solid slot in my stereo. But's a 5 disk changer and 3 are pennywise, 1 HWM, and then the other one gets filled with something else. Ushually Millencolin, or Bad Religion. Allthough ushually once Bad Religion is in there it doesn't come out for ahwile.

Good Carlotte is nice... but they're not what they're name suggests.
They're more like a kiddie's rock band (^_^)

hehe soz rpg I like Good Charlotte, they're fun but hardly "serious" punk. Its kinda refreshing tho that younger peeps are moving away from predictable pop, at least GC have some interesting lyrics every now and then Have you heard their song called "Lizzie McGuire is mad hot" ? MMmmm couldn't agree more lol

Blah, Good Charlette are just taking over from Blink 182, fair enough, I always preferred Bloodhound Gang anyway.

SMS is into some of my fave bands - Esp KoRn!!!, there's gotta be more KoRn fans here.

As for favourite song, it's always the same answer "Rearview Mirror", by Pearl Jam.

I used to be a KoRn fan, but their last CD wasn't all that great. Bloodhound Gang has got some good stuff. [-edit-] Especially the vagina song, just classical. (Don't they have two versions of the vagina song now?)

"Blah, Good Charlette are just taking over from Blink 182"
Hmm yep they do sound very similar, but Blink changed the recent music scene a lot more, and were consistantly better than Good Charlotte's album. Still neither are my favourite bands, but both are listennable

And btw Korn's last album sucked, but yup gimmie morea that Pearl Jam baby

[edit] Hmm never really took Bloodhound ganag that seriously, kinda funny tho. The one that goes "The Lapdance is so much better when the Stripper is Crying" is kinda disturbing
