I haven't looked at Cal3D, but I am currently working on a plugin to extend the animation command set.

Have a look at the feature set that I plan to include. If is anything additional in Cal3d that you would like to see in DBpro, let me know. I'll see what I can do.

It's Cal3D support specifically that I would like to see as a plugin. It's a solid product and is already supported across several major 3D applications.
