i had me then i got a way faster xp with faster everything. the best video card, a excalibuurg 9 3d video card and a P4pe motherboard, 1024 mb ram and 80 gigs of memory. (best part it was free . anyways db runs slower here then on my ME
never achive your goals... cause if you do then what is next????

Yup, though it's probably not XP, more likely it's the video card that DB dislikes.

I have one computer system that has onboard AGP SiS video which into I put a nVidia MX200 PCI card.
DB runs MUCH better on the onboard AGP than then PCI, whereas DBPro runs better on the PCI card.
