I'm trying to make a TRON style game level, but I need help figuring out how to make the edges of my 3d model glow. Would it be easier to make a polygon for each edge or texture it. I tried texturing it with a bitmap that was all black with a thin white edge, but I can't seem to figure out how to apply the textures correctly.

Any ideas?

ouch, that's a hard problem if the model isnt a perfect sphere, because the geometry of the glow would change. Basically what you're looking for is an advanced toon shading outline system, and we've all learned normal DB can't handle toon shading...I guess you could position a model that's slightly larger behind the first one and put some kind of glow texture on that....but again, if the outline of your model changes then it'll be hard to do
