Is it possible to have a helicopter model with a rotating rotor (animated, of course) and it flys over you? (With people firing on you) Or you being in it?

yes it is by using way points you can make the helicopter fly.

1= I don't know where you'll evr get a helicopter model.
2= Tell me if you figure out how to get the charchter in the helicopter.

1 = There is a lot of 3ds/Max Helicopter Model out there, even i already found 6 model..

I tried making a wall into a character and give it a waypoint but it just stared at me...

Commedy! Love it...

This mainly IS just animation faults... you need to have animations for the banking and turns, Unfortunatly, waypoint systems doesn't relay this infromation... would be better to set up a script to do it (you know movefore=500... timergreater=2000:rotateiy=40)

I have a working helicopter that flies and lands. you can't have it transport a person but you can have it spawn one when it lands.

Butter... does it imitate the propper banking? Because it would look really bad if SimCopter had better helicopter dynamics than a to-date game.
