would be a problem to implement refreshing? Like this screen is filled with curves. Or was it in original game too? I probably saw only some clone, where projectil wasnt making traces.

it was in the original....but in fact the line are to help you to .....visualise ..your shot..i mean ..to help you to find the right angle...the next time... but now its disturbing cause there is no collision.....then.. the ball is just bouncing everywhere..

i played...so much to this game......playing alone to this game is so boring..but playing..with a friend..is so fun...
you can buy different ammo...and the effect..of gravity..and explosion..are so..godly made..

but the only problem..is that they did not clock..the game..then..now with our computer the game is SO FAST..that you cant see anything...its desing to ..be played on a 486..

ok..ill soon post ..the next version...

Is it me, or do the tanks not actually fall onto the grass at all? They just stay up on top of the menu bar thing. Have you figured out a way to get real time terrain deformation, like in the original?

yeah...it will have real..deformation..but i began this game...yesterday..

ok now..the first version with collision
no deformation...but collision bullet/tank and bullet/ground

and ..i clocked ..all the game.. i mean bullet...then it will run the same on all computer

im going outside..this night....*WOAW my eyes * kekek
and when ill come back ill begin the deformation of the ground..i think .....aproximatly..at 12h ..this night..i should have finish a good part...

ok now..without deformation..but with collision:

the tank are suppose to be ON the grass (just above)..they should touch it..maybe cause of DBPro....

like i said..use DBC...or ask for .exe

ok..new version with GRASS DEFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!

but the deformation is ..realy slow..i will optimize it...and ill think to a better way to do it..tomorrow..

its a cool effect but its indeed a bit too slow
but graphically it's much better than I expected it, I just thought you would make a hole in the grass, and not that cool animation and more realistic deformation

to speed it up...
now you're letting fall pieces of grass of one pixel... (I hope its clear what I mean by this)
you could let fall pieces of more pixels (3 or 5)

or you could just render less frames in the animation?

but now I found it I see you're french

its the function 'descendherbe' which means 'fallgrass'

but in fact i had 2 sync cause..the dll take the pixel on the current screen...they need to be visible...and sometime with 1 sync...the sync was not enought fast... i mean "point" can take..the color of a bitmap #1 #2 or..anything...but the dll take the pixel visible...

but for the speed..ill just need to change the method..cause now im taking from the top.. 180 on Y (wich is the higher possible grass point) to Y explosion+16 ,and i check each color pixel...and if the pixel is green and the pixel under it..is black then i lower it ...but ill do it with math..instead of with..checking pixel each...time..

it exactly the same effect..exept for 1 thing.....because before..in the old version..i was loosing 1 pixel on 2 ..of grass..cause i was coloring...pixel in black....befor taking all the data..but now its the real..height..of grass who..fall..

it was the effect that there was some space between the falling grass... if you know what I mean

that was just what you changed to make it faster... anyway its nice as it is now

in fact..the space was a bug
and what i changed is..that i dont check the pixel 1 by 1 each loop..of the animation..i save them in an array..and move them..in the array..and AFTER i ...draw them...its why it is..faster..but i can put space.....later..now im doing the intro...for the game

There was both Scorched Earth and Tank Wars, Tank Wars was first though. Scorched Earth has many, many more weapons and options as well as the funky player naming screens with the flashy colours. lol, Tank Wars just had 8 boxes on the screen.

I believe there was also an option to turn off the line tracing.

cause i when i was young... i was playing very often to "StarCraft" ..and talking is ..in real time.. and you cant write long sentence then.. when the sentence or my idea was not finish.. i was writing "..." and then..more and more.. and MORE..............

and now...i dont use comma or..single dot..im writing "..." ..then it make a LONG sentence with...pauses.... and when i dont rellay know what to write... im writing ... i mean when i think... anyway..does it really disturb you? ...its just an habbit...like a drug..i cant stop to do it... my finger is always pressing it... sorry

And by the way, everything seems fine for me. Keep this up. Ive always enjoyed this type of game and thought a Scorched Tanks remake especially was long overdue. Keep up the updates mate!
