Does anybody know of a free to use 3D model editor that saves in the file formats DB can use, x, 3ds e.t.c I made one my self with myown file format but it doesn't work very well.

Amapi is being given away on one of the pc mags right now. Its not the latest version, I think its version 4

Actually the free version of Truespace is 3.2 not to confuse with the TS3SE supplied with magazines in the last years...This is the full product and you can also get it at download.com

Probably the best free renderer you'll come across these days.

Anima8or is also free, but i would recommend MilkShape 3D since its cheap. Though not so cheap for Australians like me. So JTEdit is the better choice.

You read README.TXT. If you register, you will get a serial number. Purchase guidance of TS4.3 reaches you soon.

It corresponds to DirectX or the mesh output.

I cant get ts3 to save the .x's right. It says "Cannot make \"

Mostly I use DOGA-L1 and 3D Canvas, but sometimes I use Anim8or, too.
JTEdit, for some reason, doesn't work. And Wings and Blender are just plain too complicated.
