I want the easyest way to make a cookie and retrive it, but a way to get it from differnt pages. I know the document.cookie methord, and the function getcookie iv seen around the net.

Is there any one line methords.. like how you save to and read from a file in VB.

Cheers for any help.

IFAIK cookies are stored per domain not page.

Cheers Kale, but i dont want to make a function to create a cookie its info as my site will use only 1 to store the pattern of pages pressed.

im after somthing like the file access methord in vb eg:
(' Open "C:\Cookie" for input as #1 ')

Is there nothing like this, or could i not use the top of the function you've shown instead of ' function setCookie(name, value) ' - and the rest and just replace it was function setCookie("Name", "1")?

(What is IFAIK?)

I always thought it was AFAIK which stands for As Far As I Know.
