I guess you could make a cylinder, texture it, make all the black areas transparent using 'set object', ghost it to make it see through, like a light, and then rotate it in game to add more variation.

To add even more variety you could have 2 or more cylinders, one smaller than the other inside the other one, you could rotate that one the other way.

Why the hell'd you ask me for crying out loud!?!

Koolaid...please don't think I'm being rude but...

Why not post the ideas and code you've already thought of and why they don't work, or why they need to be improved.

We all love to help, but we aren't here to write your game for you. If you tell us what you have tried, we will find it easier to understand what it is exactly that you are trying to do.

As far as your question goes, there is a sample game in the online tutorial that does exactly that. Check out the tutorials under the "Create" tab on the darkbasic.co.uk site.

Thanks in advance.
All the Best,

Why not texture that part of the world (the hilighted bit) in a pink tint for example?

Well its always good to try first. You help yourself learn a lot and you will get much better at coding. I only post here if I absolutly have to, and it seems I always fix my problem IMMEDIATLY after I post,,, its weird. I think I've only posted asking 5 questions in total, out of my 1,900 posts

Well, first of all, texturing the landscape wouldnt work because then the pink would always be there. A cylinder textured is the way to go on this one.

After you 'place' your cylinder, you can save its coordinates then use those coordinates to start the dropping of the bomb.
