Just a quick in game screenie..

Also, the embryo .png is missing (you crack me up), I used
the .dds but, the transparency doesn't look quite right on
the jar.

Great looking models, very kind of you to do this for the community.

I'll be making everything available later. I didn't test with just the dds guys. I will get a zip together but as you can imaging all this in 3 days was alot on my plate. I removed all the tga/png for size sake. I'll make a download available on my site for the incidentals, psd's and all.

Bonds girl looks good in that enviroment. I don't have that pack.

Anyways,
Happy gaming.

Grreat freebie pack!

Hehe, I wanted to find out where you got that cool chalkboard texture. It turned up on page 3 of a Google search. Too bad it has rock and roll history on it, but that might be typical of schoolkids playing around.

Run a blur tool over it and you cant even see it really. Using a smudge tool makes it like its half errased. Not my best work most definately, but hey...in 3 days time...lol

Hey don't get me wrong I'm not criticising at all, nothing wrong with photo ref, and it's the perfect use for it in this case.

I was just wondering if this was from your own personal texture collection, or how far I would have to Google before it turned up. This is one the few forum freebies that I've downloaded, thanks again.

This must be the best free model pack around! Excellent job Locrian, especially when considering it's made in 3 days only.

Just a few glitches..... the soccernet textures doesn't show up. That can be corrected by converting the dds one into tga one and point to that one. Secondly the chalkboard when rotated doesn't fix to the wall anymore.

Also for some reason the walls and floors of the rooms always seem to be attached to each other, but that's why you most likely included to top wall.

I haven't tried all objects yet, I'll do so later, but once again, excellent job

I hope you don't mind I'm going to re-texture the chalkboard/whiteboard, I wasn't excactly planning on making "the Texas School Massacre" with this pack

After playing around with the DDS and PNG, I found the PNG gives more transparency but, using the dds you cannot see the fetus until you are close which I think I like more. Either way this is a great pack.

I give it a 10/10 I like everything in the pack.

Thanks again

Guys I apologize for the dds transparency. It was late and I didn't test, other then it installing to the right place. The ingame screens I took were using the tga's and png's, which I deleted for size considerations with the download and trying to be dial up friendly. I will make a new install today and change the link. I made a uninstaller so get rid of the old pack and place the new one. I'll let you guys know when its done.

@Bond,
Nah, up till someone tried selling some boxes for 12$ I didn't have a reason for any school related items. I had very little I could use from my personal texture collection. Most things were quickly painted, but there are a couple photo references. The fetus, the black board, the white board. The segment textures are from my personal collection though. I didn't really have time to paint new textures so I did paint the new ceilings. The walls I had. The gym floor is a wood design that I use in sinninsoul, of which I have many colors of wood, painted and non. The tops of the lunch tables is a texture that was made with some prog that I considered to fake to use myself, but worked perfect as a veneer in this case.

@Ben,
Man if you give me a second, ill be making up a zip of all the psd files so removing the bloody text will be easy. As for the chalk board it really all depends where your cursor is held when you click it. I was easily able to get the board attached to a wall in any direction. It's zeroed out and thats all I can do...0 is 0...nothing I can possibly fix to get it attach easier then it is. This is more likely a FPSC issue with the size of the item, but it's still possible. And ben that floor being attached to the wall is a product of Signs 4, nothing I can do about that. And yes the reason I made the top wall.

Again, Sorry about the transparent items.
Thanks for testing and letting me know of any problems. I want this perfect for it's German release.

K guys, everythings uploaded and versions of clean uv maps, along with the un merged psd's are now available.

Let me know if there's anymore problems. As you can see from my screen shots all worked fine for me, but it's a little different if you know all the ins and outs. Your bringing any problems to my attention produces a better pack. I want to make sure it's 100% error free prior to releasing it on Hubdule's site because I have no intention of trying to read German and translate any post for support.

*Side note: I included a quick chalkboard-2.tga that has no bloody text and both boards have the "erased" look, for those that can't open a psd file.

Really nice for a rush job, Loc. Allways nice to see quality low poly meshes and inclusion of UV maps was real thoughtfull too. I think you're gonna see a ton of use out of this.

I can hardly wait to see more of your real project after this

Scrool down perhaps? Not sure what your looking at. As you see, plenty have gotten it fine.

Hope you figure it out.
Loc

@Errant,
Yeah figured I'd include the maps casue I almost feel sick for releasing stuff of this quality myself. I figured if people wanted to change the textures, more power to them. Just alot to do in 3 days so my only goal was being just a lil better then this one pack I've seen. I'm lucky to get a couple models a week done for my game...

The models are great. The only thing I noticed was that some of the metal entities have wood material setting. It is weird shooting a metal/fiber glass chair and seeing woodchips fly off it . No problem though, a quick run through the entity maker and they had the right materials. I had to do this on the stuff in model pack two and three also, so it isn't that big of a deal.

Even easier is to change it in the fpe...to be honest..forgot about that....kinda rushed.

Just change :
Materialindex= ?

-in the fpe to the appropriate number. Thanks for bringing that up though, It is something I'll change.

Thanks for testing and for the reply.
