I have a *.max object I have downloaded off the internet...how can I convert it into a *.x file (or any other file type)? I've got quite a few of the free modelling programs but none can load/import *.max files...

I was under the impression you had to own 3dsMax to use Deep Exploration with .max files. I haven't used Deep Exploration, so I suppose they may have changed that.

Deep Exploration works without Max but really doesn't do a marvellous job with max files.

A better solution would be to export it from Max, I have R4 with a directX plugin so by all meens send it to me and i'll convert the file for you.
