I know this topic has been batted around before but I don't recall there ever being an "official" answer. If we use MP3s in our Dark Basic games will we have to pay the license fee or has that been covered by Dark Basic's developers?

My publisher wouldn't let me use MP3s on Power Mad because I couldn't answer this question with any certainty.

If a certain number of copies (I think 50,000, but dont take my word for it) of your game have been sold, you have to pay a license fee.

*queue another 100 posts debating about this*
