Sorry I've no idea. But I have experienced things going missing from Dark Matter, in the way that stuff actually dissappeared from the CD Maybe cos its scratched, but it reads fine, just only half the stuff!

I dunno exactely what you mean, but these look like it...

compile = -c
execute = -x
make EXE = -b
make final = -f

I'm not sure what they do though.

compile check syntax only (makes sure it could compile fine)
execute runs a temporary version of the game which is wiped when you exit it
make exe/make final do what they say on the label

One block follows the suit ... the whole suit of blocks is the path ... what have you found?

yep that's it thanx!

(btw) they are what makes darkedit work^_^ Before version..106? darkedit wouldn't work because darkbasic didn't accept command lines... for example.. if you click Start > Run and type


(i think that's the right syntax)

it would run that file... SO.. what darkedit does is just call darkbasic with the file it needs to execute/compile/etc...
