LOL we get this question every so often, it is POSSIBLE to make such a program, but there isn`t such a program available, and I don`t think that anybody is going to make one soon, all to do with copyrights and licencing, anyway converting the screen modes and gfx chip operations would probably make it run way slower than a PC does, you realy need a proper development kit for the playstation like the developers use, sadly they don`t come cheap, and have heavy duty contracts included to boot, easier to stick to codeing for PC.

no, in fact, it's more or less impossible for an everyday person to write a program for *any* modern console

Why port the code to other platforms (other than perhaps *nix) and lower the standard of a well crafted app? You'll only disappoint yourself.

Thanks in advance.

There's always C and Net Yaroze.

But they're fairly anitquated.

Now if DBS made an X-Box compiler add on for DBPro....

If you're talking about what it can't do that would prevent a db game being ported over, then the main concern would be the lack of DirectX. Which kind of sums it up.

However, XBE compiling could be a possibility as (cough) there is no difference between an xbox and a pc. Apart from minor differences, it's almost identical. It is doubtful that DBS would make a convertor, as ms would sue them before they could say "we're sorry".

but surely microsoft would welcome it. These amateur games made are hardly going to lose them money. If anything it would build on the x-box community they care so dearly about. Im considering getting an x-box and if summit came out which was like that it would be more than sold to me. I just dont the the controller... not to mention the box is ugly and would ruin my pretty room.

Hehee, get a GameCube. It's much prettier box-wise and game-wise.

Of course, it's just my opinion...
