I was wondering how I would be able to tile a matrix.

I.E

If the matrix was textured with a grass bmp, and I wanted to add dirt trails, water, ect without using tons of box objects.

you should do a bmp with ALL your texture....and after with "prepare matrix texture" you will dive this bmp ..in different texture..

I think I understand. I guess this would explain why I keep seeing diffrent textures on the same bmp.

I found a map editor called "Mappy." It seems to work by tile, so I'm guessing its for 2D, but I seen some 3D things in it too. Does anyone know if dark basic works with FMP files?

When you use 3D map editors, does it save it as its own file and you have to get dark basic to run that file for your map?

Why not use plains? Much easier to manipulate, simply apply different images to each one and lay them on top of your matrix. Allows you to create a much more random effect. You'll be amazed how much more random it becomes if you rotate each a different degree before placing it.

Thanks in advance.
