congratulations to everyone
I am going to download all the game right now and have a look
aww Keith, sad to see you stop with this. You did a great job with all the competitions!!
edit : okay, I played them all. Here are my honest views.
1. AE
I had framerates of 3-8 fps throughout, only sometimes hovering in the 20-26 range. But I guess thats FPSC fault, so can't blame you completely though.
The game start, menu, sounds, voices were very very professional! I gave up when I reached the fire (I was getting 0-1 fps then). But till then the few things I noticed amazed me.
a) the wall edges were rounded, great job there
b) the linear flow of the level was very well disguised!
c) excellent textures on everything!!

Nice job again. It seems you have learnt how to tame FPSC best. Even with such an open level (you could see almost everything from every point due to windows), I had very good framerates!!
It had a nice involving story to go with the game.
What I liked best though was the level design. It looked and felt very very urban!! Good job.

Nice to see you put a lot of effort in this. But to be honest, you should see other people's levels to learn the art of level design. You had 10 different textures in the same area. There were great detailed textures mixing with some comic type ones. Also almost every turn and corner had Z flickering.
About the gameplay, well...I felt all I was doing was opening doors. And most of the doors were pointless. Why would you have doors at every turn?
Also, when I was on the roof, I just climbed on to the walls, and I could see the terrain below (which I could have jumped off). Try your best to hide/conceal parts of a level you do not intent the player to go to.
I am sorry to all of you, but these were honest reviews.
Congratulations to all of you for winning, although it would have been great to see some more competition.
Good luck with your game dev!
