Unfortunately I wasn't yet able to finish the above model. I was busy with a paid project and didn't have much time to work on anything else.
But here are the models which I created for my client:

All screenshots were taken inside DBPRO.

I'm available again for small-medium paid projects. If you are interested contact me through my site and I'll get back to you with a quote ASAP.

Yeah, which was more or less my goal.
But at the moment I'm not sure if I will finish it at all. Probably I'll do something more generic for the shop. I have 1 armor set from the commission which I didn't use.
I might use it for new character instead.
Anyway thanks, glad you like them.

What you see above, were 2 base meshes priced at 50 Euro (around 75$) each. 4 armor sets priced at 20 Euro (around 30$)each. The models are rigged but without animation. A character without exchange able armor (i.e a Knight) ranges from 60-70 Euro (around 90-105$).
However the next project will be the last project with this pricing scheme. I will slightly raise the prices for the base meshes. A lot of time is going into the models, which justify the raise.
But I'm also considering concentrating on non exclusive characters/packs. I would probably charge 20-25$ for a character (as seen in the 4 screenshots) including some basic animations.

By mid October I'll be working on a Zombie/Horror pack, together with a friend, for FPSC and DBPRO. I'll definitely post some screenshots once the project is on it's way.

Your female knight/ guards look amazing! Well if you make a model pack like bond1 for DBPro. I would buy the pack for $20. I just need some medieval style girls for my video game called The Last Great Swordsmen. Here is the website for the game http://lastswordsmen.freezoka.com and tell me if u might think about making some character model packs sometime.

cheers,

@Beast E Gargoyle - As I mentioned I have one female armor which I didn't use for the commission. I will use the armor to create a new character for a pack. At the moment I'm thinking if I will leave the character and armor textures separated for each part, or combine at least the armor textures to a single texture.
I'm also considering releasing different armors, weapons and hairstyles later on. But I guess that will depend on how well the pack will sell.

Here is a pic of the armor:

The girl looks nice, but the armor is not very logical. Doesn't protect very much aside from arms, privates and breasts.

@darimc - Most likely she'll wear chainmail beneath it. Like I said, this wasn't used, so the character is unfinished. The character will not be naked under the armor.
I guess you were trying to say that it's not really practical.
Well I'm not a person who says everything in a game has to be super realistic. It's a matter of opinion, taste and preference.

@Irradic- If you made 2 characters with 2-3 texture varations. I will pay you $25 for the model pack. I am serious about this too. I have invested over $350 for TLGS and the amount keeps increasing monthly. Btw, the girl looks great now except she needs a weapon maybe a small sword or a small mace and for clothes wise, she could use a little more armor on her hips/legs and maybe a robe just covering her back slightly. Honestly, I hate to say this but the female modelling today is centered around eye candy of the ladies and it sells well. The new foereign elf girl game coming to ps3 is a half naked anime style girl that gets skimmper as the game progress. So it may over empashise itself sometimes but comes out well in others. Take star wars force unleashed or untold legends for ps3, the girls weren't fully clothed yet they were not show sudductively, which I don't intend to do when attacking/slashing away at them in a hack n slash game.

Please keep adding onto the girl and send me an email. I am extremly interested in your up coming model pack.

Best,

Beastegargoyle

Ok, after heavily celebrating my Bday yesterday, I started editing the armor mesh today.
I extended the torso part to cover a larger area and added hip armor plates.

If you scroll up (pic with black armor) you'll get an idea how the texture will look like. I will just edit the texture to include the mesh changes. In addition to that, I will work on a metal variant, so you'll have 2 textures for the armor.
She will be wearing chain mail beneath the armor, so don't mind the naked base mesh. However if people would be interested in a sexy version of the character, I could add a texture variant that shows more skin. I'll give her a long sword and I was thinking about adding a shield, but I'm not sure about that yet.

Also...I won't be accepting any further custom jobs for now.
I'm cooperating with Dexsoft, and it looks like you will be able to find characters from me in their shop in the future.
However this character will be purchasable from my website.

Here are first screen shots out of DBPro. It's far from done, the face is a placeholder for now. I have removed some of the ornaments on the armor plates, I thought the whole thing looked overly crowded.
I don't know if and how many texture variations I can get done.
Paid projects will be limiting my time, but I definitely want to release this asap.

Thanks for all the positive feedback !
I really don't know how often I have redone stuff yesterday.
The top of the shield was initially U shaped,at the beginning I actually didn't plan to position the shield on the back of the character.
How ever later I thought it was a good idea, the U shaped top though made it look strange. So I changed the top and made it round. Since I had already the textures done I had to redo the UV and map. Nothing big really, but redoing things can become annoying after a while.
I didn't have much ideas for the sword, can't remember through how many different texture designs I went until I was satisfied with the bone hilt. Sorry, I was too lazy to pose the fingers.
I was at first thinking about modeling a grip/handle into the shield but later thought it's not really worth the extra polygons. Instead I added a scabbard inside the shield for the sword. At least no one can complain now that a exposed blade would injure her legs.
Well...enjoy the pics..all pics as usual captured in DBPro

Where do you'se see Cloud in the first model? does'nt look like cloud to me lol however it is very final fantasy like. The first Two people I first thought of and think they look just like your character is Aki from the movie ff spirits within or Yuna from ffX and X-2

However very nice

That Cloud look alike is no longer in this thread. I accidentally deleted the images on my ftp.
Anyway, the characters in this thread had no direct inspiration.
I just hear quiet often that they look Guild Warish, which might be true for the Black Knightess character. I can see a little resemblance to fissure/obisidan armor, although I was more thinking about Lineage 2 when I created the armor.
I'm thanking every one for the positive feedback ! The character should be done around next week. If Dexsoft agrees then I would like to create a NPC pack next, town folks with different texture variation.

Thanks for the bump mate I'm busy getting this done. Had to make some changes due to Dexsofts request to combine most of the maps.
I'll probably need 1 or 2 more days, so the character should be available for purchase around next week. I'll up some new screen shots and videos of the animations till then.

what can I say the models you have made are stunning, would you ever do any work like this for some one else?

if so would you be interesting in making models for an ambishus game maker like my self?

soul sucking devils, twisted body of the damed, slivering slim drips from every poor, sin licking at your ears, and the smell stinging your eyes, and if you don't like it, get out of my kitchen!
