I made this gun like two months ago, but fergot to post it, I was terrible at textureing back then (and i still am now). But i managed to make this, uv map it, texture it, and import it in 1 hour 20 minutes.

Not so good, but use how you like, commercial or non-commercial. Don't sell it in a pack (not that you'd want to).

I'm now making SN2 so look at the pics of it nearer the bottom of the post!

edited download, accidently included fpsc sounds.

Now just includes the one sound I made. just copy other reload sounds and empty sounds into this folder.

Yer the enemys ones are at a funny angle, I just made this to see how quickly I could make a gun.

Could someone who has MP5 or MP6 help me? for my new gun I want to have hands, So i'll use a seperate hand texture. How do you have more than texture on a gun in FPSC.

you place the two textures in the folder with the gun then don't specify a texture for the gun, i think

so what's the job?

thanks rolfy, If i send you the model, could you UV map it and send it back, you don't need to texture it though. I'm just not good at UV mapping.

It would be greatly apreciated.

You should try uv mapper or lithunwrap tyrano,both of these will automatically unwrap a model for you in seconds.
There's a good little tutorial for uv mapper by screwed over here.

I have both, and have read both tuts, i'm just not good at it lol. And i can't export as .obj from gamespace. The best I can do in lithunwrap is an okayish planar map, which isn't good for this gun, because of the roundness.
heres the hand model and the gun model.

I'mm off to play KH2 for a while so you have as long as you need rolfy

Oh darn it! the texture gets ruined when I amply it to the model! The hands worked fine, cos i did em. looks like i'm ganna have to map it myself.

EDIT:
Iv'e lost the original model now, with this one!
do you still have that original model I sent you?

The model before was wrapped properly, I extracted a texture and tried to apply it. thats where it went wrong.

Thanks for the rust, because I can never make a good base coat

EDIT: I now realise what it was. It's the shiny shader your using, gamespace doesn't like it, so could you just remove that then post again, thanks in advance rolfy.

NOTE: I'm ganna go sleep now, so i'll see you tomorow hopefully with all this sorted out, thanks for all the support rolf.

I managed to get the co-ordinates to work by exporting and re-importing. thanks rolfy, the co-ordinates look good.

Cool! When I get Maya, I'll sort it out with some more realistic looking hands if that's ok with you? I managed to export them out of Truespace then it stopped working; it was crap anyway, that's why I'm getting Maya. Nice gun also!

im still working on it, just that im back at school now and don't have anytime. Anyway, yer looks like this one isn't too popular, i will finish it, but I think i'll stick to fantasy.
