So title says all.. Is this possiple? Cuz i need this for making effects because its more faster than loading all images in dbpro and then texture the object with effect images.. And takes more RAM so any clues?

The .x format does not support material animation. (According to the gamespace manual)

You could just apply a different texture to the object in DBpro.

what about if the texture was twice the length of what it should be.

imagine two sets of armour stitched together in a row.

then simply using the scroll object texture to the exact point of the other texture.
its already loaded into memory with this method but might cause a texture size load issue if many are to be loaded.

what kind of effects are you trying to create? just curious. Not all effects are tackled the same way, and there might be an easier way to get that 'effect'. lol, brain no sense
