I've been running this for over a year and it's been fun, but I'm going to pass my responsibilities onto a new dude, so I'm asking for volunteers and I'll pick the person I feel most suited for the job.

Whoever does take over will need to:

-Recreate my sticky thread and keep it up to date (Which I failed to do this time ), that means the dates, the previous winner with their picture and the name of the challenge, and remember to update the 'previous winners' list at the bottom. Also the info and rules of the currently running challenge should be there as well as the global rules.

-Ask a mod to do the change over of stickies, if needed refer them to this thread, MikeS has been a good supporter of this challenge, but I haven't seen much of him recently, it might be an idea to contact him first if you will.

-Follow the same format I do with the WIP and Entry threads for future challenges

-Carry on running the current challenge

But if you feel anything I did wasn't the best thing to do, this is a good oppurtunity to set them right with any improvements you can think of.

Reasons for 'outsourcing' my work? Well I just made a thread on it in Geek Culture, and I found myself getting too busy to maintain it, not to mention my internet connection being a complete pain making it almost impossible to post here.

Cheers dudes.

I'll give other people more of a chance, personally I thought more people would post, if they don't, then you've got it. But I'll use this as a bump to give other people a chance (As our regulars don't seem to be posting much around here at all)

An Election, a brilliant idea, alright then, all those who wish to take my place, volunteer before 10th April, and then we can have an election.

Well it probably wont be me, but I might as well volunteer seeing as I have no current projects and all im doing is looking over some tutorials. So it might be fun, I will volunteer.

Sorry that you've got to pass the torch Sep, you've been a good custodian of the challenge

I'd volunteer, but I'm hardly ever on this board now and i'm far too busy to model at the moment so, i vote moondog too.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

as your first act as president of the tgc forums...oh wait...wrong speech...

cool beans, didn't think i'd win

anyway, what happen to the results of the last compo, the steam power compo? or was there even any voting that went on? couldn't find a post

anyway, i was wondering what option people think the competitions should go? i have some ideas for different styles of competitions, but i want to hear everyones opinions first.

but something i want to do is create a new main post with rules, and updated competition information, so i can easily edit it

anyway, thnxs again

once you create a poll with your new ideas, a mod can sticky it for you.

after you have dissected whats required, make another post for the compo rules and we as mods
can unsticky the last and stick the new one.

I'm having difficulty making long posts on my computer. Congrats on getting Moondog, I was going to give people a longer wait, but I posted orignally on 28th March, people have had enough time. Also, Steam Powered is dead, no entries were made.

@Alpha Zero - Moondog is a very talented modeler. Hes been around for a fair few of the competitions, in both voting an taking part. He always has a nice thing to say and can take constructive criticism..... Which is more than can be said about you. Judging by the post i've quoted above, pretty much the way you talk to people in all your previous forum threads, and also by the way you "offered" to take over
Quote: "I want it"

There is no wonder Moondog has taken over from sepp and not you.

Well done Moondog, im sure you will do a cracking job. And well done to Sepp for running the competitions for all this time.

Yeah, I forgot to say thanks to Sepp.

Thanks for putting in the hard yards and keeping the whole thing moving smoothly. You acted maturely and humoured every situation, which is an elusive and respectable trait in this community!!

Thanks!

Thank you, and really it was no problem, I enjoyed doing it, I can't take all the credit, I've had a good set of dudes to help me out, including yourself, and well it was Big Add that gave me the idea in the very beginning.

It kind of died, people got their WIPs started, but nothing happened in the end.
