Mods, I know WIPs without ingame screenshots are supposed to be in 3d chat , but the moment someone answers my question about the Fridge I'll be able to post an ingame screeny, and it would be frustrating creating a brand new topic.

Ok, so far I have created :

A kitchen table (with stand in texture)

Fridge(Untextured) with animated door.
^Having trouble getting that to work in FPSC, it looks tiny and
I can't work out how to get the door to open when you press enter.

Please post if there is anything you would like to see in this pack.

I am already putting in:

Fridge (Needs texture, and help with making it open it's door in FPSC)
Table (Needs texture)
Chair (Needs texture)
Oven/Stove (It's all in my head)
Microwave (It's all in my head)
Kitchen Segment (It's all in my head)
Kitchen Door Segment (It's all in my head)
SINK (It's all in my head).

Anything else you'd like, please tell me, thanks.

E.D.

P.S. The attached screeny is the table and chairs.

And the fridge.

(I created a better one, with the door actually attached etc. and, as I said, animated.)

E.D.

EDIT: Wow, you guys posted in the time it took me to write this.

Second Edit: I was going to put a sink in, but dishwasher is a good idea, I'll seriously consider it.

Third Edit: Going on holiday for a week tomorrow, but I'll still be working on this on my laptop.

Ingame FPSC screeny coming very soon.

I just got back from an awesome holiday (like 2 minutes ago), and sadly my FPSC CD has not arrived yet.

When it does I'll post it. But move this to 3d if you must.

Well, that looks nice. What program are you using, because I heard that Google SketchUp is the one you're using. And, are you able to make custom entities with textures and everything in SketchUp?

It's not a proper kitchen pack unless it includes a woman.

I resent that. Not because it is sexist (which it might be) but because I am the best cook I know.Even my grandma says I cook better than her.
And I am thankful that I can cook too.My ex-wife could burn a bowl of Corn Flakes.

It's meant to be, why else would it be funny?

Well I'm glad I've got support .
The first release will probably not have animated entities.
This is because right now I can't afford Milkshape, and there are no free programs which animate like that (All in one file, like .x)
So it'll be a static kitchen first release.
And a dynamic kitchen once I get Milkshape.
I can't do people, but any other items (non-animated) you would like.

PLEASE TELL ME.

Thanks,

E.D.

You can use Fragmotion to animate your entities and the trial version is free.
The only catch is there is this annoying smiley guy that pops up every few seconds asking if you registered yet...and,much like that dog from Duck Hunt...you cannot kill it no matter how many times you try to shoot it.
But,other than that,I believe it works the same as the full version.
You might check it out.

I have the free version, but I thought it was only good for previews\converting mesh types.

Oh yeah.... and I know there is a sprite function.... what angles should I do for isometric??
The screeny is fragmotion with the humvee model I got with the trial .

Thanks.

Damn straight! Why else do they have small feet? So they can fit behind the sink.

I find that offensive....... and I'm not even a woman..... I'd edit that if I were you.

He's joking; not all woman have small feet.

PS. The ones with big feet get the firewood.

My excuse for not doing the washing up is "the sink is too low and it gives me a back ache". It's a good excuse, they put sinks at woman height
