I think this is because the collision box for it is a 'box type' instead of 'polygon', so although it looks like you can put stuff on you can't, FPSC thinks the shelf is a box and you're placing stuff 'inside' this collision box so FPSC will throw it out.

Does that make sense?

No, not really. But I still won't give you your kiwi bird.

LOL, JK. But, how could you make the shelves' collision 'polygon'? It might be something for TGC to put in v106 RC5, or v107.

It's already there. You can change it in the model's .fpe file, or save yourself the hassle and download the entity maker from the FPSC website and create your entities through that. It will ask you what kind of collision you want when you do.

I put things on the shelf regularly, even second and third shelf. You need to get up close in the editor and make sure the item is resting on or a hair above the surface of the shelf. If it gets into the shelf's surface it will get thrown.

Sometimes you will need to play with the entities weight and friction to make it stay, but it can be done.

See attached...

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
