nice, what software you using?
the only real thing for improvement would be perhaps to make the cylinders more cylindrical (is that how you spell it?) however that isnt something that brings down the whole model or anything.
its a very nice piece of work.

Still working on some of the geometery so no smoothing has been applied, I use Max 5.0 to create my models. There is still some m,ore detail to add to the hull as yet.

Nearly done, just a few quality issues to tidy up and age the tank a little, couple more hours and it should be done

Wow, that's great. Looks like even though Max 5 is pretty old you can still make great looking models in it.

$10 for one modell? dude, I was thinking of selling my weapon pack with 18-20 models in it when it's finnished for free or for maybe $2, I personally think it's too much, I get that very much work was put up into it but still...

I model I clean and I cook for you... AND I STILL DONT GET A COOKIE!!?!!?!?!!?!??

What you may not realise is that the site takes upto 50% of the money for selling the model, Then as I live in the UK the bank then charges me a small percentage to cash a foreign check. So I sell the model for $10 however I only recieve the equivelant of $4.50 which then amounts to approximatly 2.20 in stering. Which if you consider that this model is well over 40 hours work I do not consider this to be a high price, Consider the cost of studio max, the latest version costs 2,650 add to that the cost of an art package. I do this as a paying hobby I do not expect to earn enough to be able to buy the latest software however I do wish to earn enough to buy myself the occasional beer for my efforts.

Most model sites will adjust the prices of models to keep them inline with other models on there site so I am not always in control of the selling price. I have set this model to $10 however dont be suprised to find it at a higher price shortly

Yes I do have a licensed copy of MAX

I cant believe it's only $10 USD, what Frap hasnt done is posted images of the finished model in this thread so i've taken the liberty of doing it for him.

I'm related to Frap so it's unfair for me to pass off a positive comment without declaring my bias, but I will say i've paid a lot more for models that are far inferior back when I was making games in DBP, and several years of inflation have ocurred since then.

This model is gorgeous and goes well with his other tank and WW2 airplanes, and if you ever browse through 3D model sites you'll see it's also cheap, as he says he just gets a beer from it.

If you want it cheaper, perhaps it's time that TGC took a look through his collection and considered mixing it with some other models to make a new DarkMATTER?
