can anyone give me a quick tutorial of how to make a (very low poly) pistol, can the tutorial include images to show how to tools work. or is there a link somewere that already has what im after

First, you open Milkshape (duh!) and select the box tool. Click and drag in the top-left window to make a box.



You'll have to scale the box in the top-right window to make it more like the handle.



Repeat this for the barrel, just rotated differently.
If you need more detail, ask me.

Use google or do a forum search...In fact there's a thread on useful 3D modelling resources you might want to look at next time you want to request a tut.

I do have to a link on rigging in Milkshape tutorial (by Xenocythe)- which is useful to know before you animate (because you need to rig a model before you can animate its poses etc.)

A very good tutorial for making a SPAS-12 shotgun in milkshape. Good to learn from, bad to show results (it was used too many times).
