So far everything correct.

Your video looks great, very nice use of camera-perspectives, and also some nice effects, although they look a bit monotonous. Also your 3D-Backgrounds look fantastic.

Very Shenandoah, which is good, because Shenandoah is good. Just where Shenandoah appraoches retro you're using effects. Both are good, if you just work it out correctly.

One word: Cool.

Another three words: Give us more.

My one gripe is the coloring on the player's ship, which blended in to the background too much. Maybe you could make it brighter?

Otherwise, amazing game. The boss animations were well done, and the AI looked good as well.

Looking forward to more!

That was extremely impressive. I love the switch to 3rd person view at times...

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

Why wait for the demo when you can purchase THE GAME?

Go run down to the ps1 store (if there are any nowadays) and purchase a game called \'Einhander\'

This game is basically a rip off that. Maybe with a bit of a crap graphics.

I dont know why this guy is tryna pass this game as his own, but it just aint original.

Looks like a video with a \'variable view\' overlayed

And that piece of video is exactly level 1

Wake up guys!

Heres the link to the original game:

http://media.psx.ign.com/media/002/002048/imgs_1.html

Look, if he is 'inspired' by the game great, Ill understand the different elements within the game. But this is a 100% copy, no originality.

Plagarism anyone?

Well, Micophone, really, I don't care. It looks good and he seem to be developing it himself. I like the looks of Blazehander a lot, so I can't see why I'd have objections to a ripoff, as long as it is his actual work (not Serdjo3D rips).

Okay, it's extremely copied - but hey, that he can change anytime - he can make new levels, add other levels, right?

If he's gonna change the level's yea sure that is fine, but atleast have some sort of mention of 'based on the original game' einhander. Or a remake.

And I thought game making was about creativity and trying new things out and having fun. Your techniques and with the program and 3d is good no doubt about that. But its no good without any grasp of your own style or story.

If youve got an element in the game that Ive not seen in Einhander, Ill look forward to that.

Bladehander - Einhander.

Hehehe..could have atleast expected alittle more creativity with the name. It aint that hard to think of something a little more different...

Oha and btw what happened to the guy who stated this:

'I'd say START with asking Blizzard... If you're going to make any profit at all from it they'll definitely kill the game, and if not, probably too. They killed the Starcraft mod for C&C Generals, too. That was free...

It's not like they are your friends, they are a company.'

Hehe, he got in a pissed mood because of some funny guy on the Game Theory Board and is now staring in suprise at someone quoting him. Nice 'research', lol, that's what I call eliminating all discussion.

Must be because it's DBC - but you're right... Okay, know what, you got me. This is a rip and he'd do best to change it. The engine works, it seems, so I'm interested in what this will turn out to be.

Someone quoted me... wow.

The source of game is free, i share this.
This is only exercise of programming and modelling, this project is open source for all.
If you want, you can change this, add new stage and more.

Ah thats alright Klonoa, its cool.

Glad you cleared that up. But with all this, why not use it to make something that is originally your idea?

Hows this, when you destroy the ships, you can 'catch' them and use them as weapon to throw against other enemies.

Klonoa, this is an awesome game. Really, you're showing that DBC is capable of good stuff in the right hands and for that only you get thumbs up from me.

But Micophone is right! Make it more your own! Make something new, smart, something that makes it even better. If you're that good at coding, as Jane Doe once said, why waste it imitating something? Make something even more fun to play .

You're on the right track! Thumbs up!
