Thier was no gore since everything turned to a soul on death, but thier was violence, inocents masacred, betryeals, rivials -> DIVERSITY in chracters MADDNESS. Only a single lad with a catchphrase of sorts, and that was "i will surpass god" <- FAILED...
The best thing about it was the fact that it kept my attention. I didnt, rather couldnt draw while watching it, I think i only ever interupted a single episode and that was when i was waiting on a delivery to which i dumped the parcel and carried on watching it.
Then it had the big brass ones to drop a turd right in your face while you sit choking on your tounge in disbelief. The fight sceens leading up to the last what 1 minute? were unbelivable, truly worth the anticipation, last minute twists, Perfect if they had kept it up and ended their i would be so happy, id probably watch from start to finish again. But no, after using brute force, strong arm, buried power tactics right to the climax, then flopping at the end? I was more dissapointed than that time with your- Ahem on topic.

So after fighting bare knuckles and blades you stand before him in all his unholy glory and deny his exsistance and purpose in life. Becasue of course! arguing Philosophy with a being that has no fear or inabitions and is awakening maddness in ever soul after been locked up for 800 hundred years by being skinned alive and tied in a bag his own skin, Of course you can be talked down for taking his revenge and rebirthing the world into his own truth.
But of course the little girl stood before the deflied god and used courage to bring him to his knees... What a load of Crap.
She made the god question himself and thus brought fear to his heart. You dont understand -> Your afraid was pretty much mind F all over the screen written in blood because the insane person was having a freaking nervous breakdown.
Now at this point, god freaks, back off and goes for a ranged attack of sorts but now your have your courage you dodge all of them and run at him with a post card from your mother that abandoned you to see the world, that has the word courage written in a different laungauge, Clentched in your fist and punch him knocking him back a little. Leading him to laugh and his head to pretty much explode.
After all that? That was your big finale?
What the hell is wrong with these people? Have they no shame? or at least, they could show a little backbone to pull a hail marry and leave it in the gritty battle scene were the hero takes her scythe and rams it through his third freakin eye. But no, its always a morale win, and that always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
They need to look at Animes like the Afro samurai, He had a Baddass role, I don't think that you could beat it, I mean he kills thousands of people since hes wearing Number 2 headband, He kills his best childhood friend 3 freaking times and then kills his resurrected farther aswell. What more can you ask for?
euhh, Sleepy now, need time to process the rest of it.
Neverless i would still recommend Soul Eater, Did i menion it was made by Square Enix... Well that explains a little more right?
