Thanks Darkfoil & Nickydude !

The v2.0 seems to be working fine on Vista for me.

I hope you Vista guys remembered to right click as select "Run As Administrator" when you ran the installation exe, since it installs in the program files.

This thing is really fantastic!
I love the texture mixer, and the layout is nice too.

Very NICE!!!

Thanks again.

Edit
I ran into one small problem while trying to use the texture mixer.
The files created would not load again. (gave an error)
While examining the files I noticed they were missing their file extensions.
So, I typed the proper extension onto the filename and it worked fine.
Now, when I type in the filename as I'm saving, instead of typing "testwall" I type the whole thing... "testwall.jpg" , and it works fine.
I don't know if this is a Vista thing or not but it was easy enough to work around.

Thanks again for a really neat program.

"Runtime errror 8003 - Could not find path at line 136".

I have FPS Creator Free so changed path settings to
in Firma.log & still no go

********** PATH SETTINGS **********
Textures\Sign Textures
Textures\Wall Textures
Textures\Floor Textures
D:\Programs\The Game Creators\FPS Creator Free\Files\entitybank\Firma\Signs
D:\Programs\The Game Creators\FPS Creator Free\Files\segments\Firma\Rooms
D:\Programs\The Game Creators\FPS Creator Free\Files\entitybank\Firma\Walls

Had this error "no d2dx9_31.dll"

Nickydude, as I understand this, this is not a segment maker, but a segment retexturer maker, since this can't really make customer segments, is there a way to bring in custom segments I am making to retexture to create retextured segments. Is there a line in the program or some ini file that will allow me to point to a different area other than the world war 2 folder for creating segments?

Jeremiah, you are correct, this just retextures ready made segments. As I didn't make the program (DarkFoil did and unfortunately he hasn't been around fora while) I don't know whether you can load in other segment meshes. Sorry.

Hmmm...
So if I cant get Firma to work coz it's too buggy is there
some other way to retexture segment walls easily ?
I have lots of textures & i've seen textures for download from forum members but how do you apply/use them ?

I have a problem. I'm trying to make a wall but I can't get it to save right. I checked my paths and they're fine and everytime I try and save now it says that the file already exists. The file isn't anywhere on my computer from what I can see though. this program would be awesome if I could get it to work right. Any ideas?

I doubt anyone will read this because my posts don't bump threads to page one for whatever reason but this program has way to many problems to be of any use. For one, it doesn't save anything in the right place. It doesn't even save everything you need. All it saves is a .bmp image of whatever you make. I downloaded V2 and both the patches so I don't know what's wrong. Did I do something wrong?

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64, and Firma works wonderfully. Maybe it is because your using the free version of FPSC.
