I'm making a nice simple foosball game, using DarkPhysics. Just need to work on some AI and a nice user friendly control system and it will be done. Nothing too flash, but hopefully should turn out quite fun and should be finishable.

Stuff to do:
-AI (The main one)
-Two player on same compo support
-Moving handles
-Scoring
-Sounds/music
-Menus and all that stuff

Not gonna bother with network support as it's too much effort and will be a pain since I'm using darkphysics.

Quick vid to show gameplay idea. Obviously I'm playing myself, so it's rubbish!

Shadows are looking a little off.

Looks nice, hope you finish this then finish you other projects(desert fallout especially)

Edit: Loled at the video, physics are nice though.

Your about to get pwned.

Hmmm. It's looking quite good there, although game speed seems kinda low. But! This can't be a Fallout project. It's not ambitious enough, and it is getting finished...

You're not the real Fallout! WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE REAL FALLOUT?!

Yeah, need to sort out the control system and see how fast it can be played. It'll have to be slower than real foosball though. But yeah, it's a bit sedate in the video - mainly because I was playing myself though.

As for not ambitious enough, there will be 1 million different tables, and real time intelligent learning self aware AI, that will ultimately kill you in real life.

I grabbed him and transported him to claymore island where he will notice why we complain why he didn't finish those games.

Claymore Island isn't dead btw. I've had very little time to work on it, but it's being slowly adapted into something more completable. More in the future.

nice work
it looks really professional!
are you controlling with the keyboard?
I think holding down the mouse on the handle and spinning side to side would be fun
do they spin all the way around?

"You must be someone's friend to make comments about them." - MySpace lied.

Yeah, it's mouse control, but I'm trying to come up with the perfect control mechanism, so will get back to you on that. And yes, they should be all the way, but I've actually not tried. They naturally reach an equilibrium half way up.

I think this game is a good thing and it looks pretty damn good, it's simple and it means unlike I, you can now say you have a successful project.

Well anyway, you can 'fallout it up' by adding a bonus level where you're playing as a little football guy and you have a gun and randomly shoot the other places and use their corpses to knock the ball into the goal.

Good stuff my man.

I love Nancy DrewG, but not insert brain here
