To start with: Buy a mic.
Then simply record audio with the recorder that comes with windows.
Then you must convert it to mp3 or ogg or somethign that works with FPSC.
Then youre done

Does it work with mp3? I don't think so. That'y why we have to use wave as music which is 10 times the size of mp3.

If mp3 works please tell me how.

No, MP3 is not supported, unless something has changed just recently. .wav and .ogg are. Using .ogg will cut the file size dramatically. Just use Audacity to convert them.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Ogg is a better format than mp3 anyway, mp3 is not supported because of the licencing issues.

Thanks

Xplosys Fantastic! I didn't know that the file size of an ogg is so small. NOW my multiplayer arena can have a real music theme, not just one minute to keep the file to 9-10 MB. Now I will use a three-minute song.

Some systems have front and back ports.
Make sure that the default Mic is set to the proper port if you have more than one.
Also, there are usually MUTE options for them as well, so make sure that it is not ticked.
Another possiblilty is the Mic itself, as some have volume controls on them or their wire.
Make sure the Mic's volume is not set at a minimum.
Yet another possiblilty is that the Mic is defective. (even if it is brand new)
Try it on another computer or try a friend's Mic on your computer.
That will verify whether it is the Mic or the computer that is the problem.

Get a microphone (chances are one is on your computer), Download audacity, click record (say your stuff), click export, move the WAV file to the audiobank in the FPS Creator file in the program files, make a sound sound (in FPSC), right click it, change the audio to the on you did, and done.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

You may need to adjust your audio settings, which you can do by entering sndvol32 into command prompt.

Well if I had a PC problem, should I buy a new one without looking?

It could be muted, open the Volume Control: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Volume Control

Then select options -> properties from inside the Volume Control window and from the Mixer Device drop-down there should be something that says 'input' (or something similar), select that, make sure Mic Volume is ticked in the box below, select OK and you should now be able to see if there's any volume on your mic, or if it has been muted.

Phew!

Have you got the volume turned on?
What context are you using it in? Background music/ entity sound/ sound zone?

I recommend you download Audacity, record with that, it's easy as pie - Google it. Once you've downloaded and are running Audacity, click the big red circle, that's record. Then, once it's recorded, click "File" --> "Save as Ogg Vorbis".
