Some issues with the normals, very polygonal, most parts of the body look out of proportion.

the arms and legs are, but the head and body are not.

only the chair and two back wheels are not primitives on the chair, but i mostly focused on the head. I also use gs light, so its hard to make good stuff under 650 polys

Agreed, pathetic graphics Runescape has and bad gameplay, how they can get money for that is beyond me.

I like these models here better than Runescape by far but the style is kind of similar yes. They are cool, maybe the holes in their heads could have some eyes in them?

ya i know. i tryed ading eyes but they look realy bad...
about the glasses guy, i know part of the dudes leg is missing, i fixed it though. (I though i could hide it but i guess i was wrong!)

and about the whole runscape thing, i know they look terible and could use smoothing, but once again, i cant have more than 650 polys

here is a smoothed head version

Maybe he lost his leg? Maybe that's why he uses a wheelchair?

I actually like these models, they may not be the most technically acurate in the world but I think if the same style was used throughout the game it could look quite good. Kind of like an old Amiga game. However yes there is a normals issue but this can easily be rectified. Prehaps on the next one you could show us the character animations as well.

Good luck and keep it up

This is surely a very funny idea. I think that your game deserves more work on the models.

Try to use one single mesh for the old person's body, instead of summing tweaked primitives. This modelling technique does not give the best results, and slows down the game, as it represents more batches being sent to the graphics card.

Apart from that, it looks totally funny.

Have fun developing it.

Cheers.

my race track pics
i know it is horibble right now, but im gona redo the road. im also going to add a bunch of stuff in the building that you can run into,
like chairs and tables and more old people.

and yes i know they are all primitives, but thats the easyest way to make a "cheesey" house! Like i said, im goana redo the road, the one right now im using as a guidline for my new one.

what if the hokey pokey realy IS what its all about?

Cool style. They have character, and don't use too many polygons.
