A while ago, I posted in the BR2 thread and said that I wasn't going to finish it. I never got any replies, so I'm thinking that means everyone is mad at me

I decided to improve the original Bomb Roller game.

First I have to port it from DBC to DBP. I got it working, so far, but it is awfully dark, and the bomb is kinda glowing for some reason.

Successfully porting this to DBP will require that I go through all my code, and completely organize it, because it is quite messy.

Once I get the engine back to normal, I will make these additions:

Lighting effects
Better menu
Enhanced graphics with shading (maybe)
New tiles (Any ideas, people? - I already have a few)
Better explosions
An options screen with screen resolution prefs
Additional music
5-10 more levels
User-friendly map editor designed for Bomb Roller
Custom map loading
Level and update downloading from my site (maybe)
New tilesets (maybe)

Its not supposed to look like that.

I'm going to make a spot light pointing at the bomb from the camera, or something to brighten it up.

Edit: I cannot work much on this this week because of excessive homework.

I just finished the map editor. I'm not releasing it yet, because it saves the levels in a much different (and better) way than what the original Bomb Roller uses. Once I finish organizing and improving the code for Bomb Roller, I will upload both for you to try.

Nice This should be good.

Sad to hear you're binning BR2, but I guess whatever you learned can be applied to this. Look forward to to playing.

I'm going to try to make it like Bomb Roller 2, except without the multiple levels and stuff. I have some good ideas for new tiles too.
