This is my first model pack, but it will be a good one.

Demon - a tough, big armored devil, big bull-like horns, bat like face, and burly goat legs. He’ll slice you down to size with his massive axe, adorned with human flesh and skulls

Devil - More goat like then the demon, it’s tall and slender with two big boney wings. Better be careful of this one, he’s adorned with horns all over.

Succubus - Very similar to the Devil, she is a seductress, slender, with long dear-like legs, big hands with long skinny fingers, and a tail like a whip, and a set of wings to boot. She’ll lure you in with her beauty, then take a bite of your soul.

Zombie - Your standard rotten corpse, much more decayed than most you find, holes in his skin reveal the bones and rotten old organs beneath. Your tortured soulja boy, fodder for any man with a gun.

You can expect these all to be top notch quality. Check back here often to see updates and renders of works in progress!

Like I always say, I'm open to suggestions, critiques and ideas for other characters to add!

Nice model, but unless you expect everyones' games to have pre-rendered worlds, 5000 is too much. I'd settle for half that if I were you. Unless of coarse this is for X10.

Great model, nethertheless.

the idea is support for X10 and the next gen pretty much, although there are things i could do to decrease the polycount which i likely will. I'll take new screens and post them later today.

EDIT: new screens posted. I changed from cloth kilt to a scaled chainmail, it will look much better when i get a spec map made for it. also, the legs are still in progress and will have a lower more neutral contrast.

I does seem though that you have modelled every detail on the model? This will make almost every PC struggle.
Isn't it normal practise to have details come up in the form of textures, shaders and mapping instead of modelling every nook and cranny?

No trying to bash someone's work, but I suspect you want people to use your models and I think those heavily detailed models won't be suitable for a lot of users.

VERY nice model none the less, though! I wish I could model that well!

Yskonyn it is called a normal map, it does some light thing to make flat surfaces seem much more detailed

Ok... I'll shut up now about things I clearly have no understanding of!!

I thought I was putting in some decent constructive criticism, but apparently I have overplayed my hand, haha!

Great job on the models!

Its a great model, but I'd say 5k is still not what you should be shooting for, even with X10. I would say 4k would be the maximum, and thats pushing it.

But, everyone has their styles, just keep in mind, even X10 will struggle if all of your models are double what they could be.

I agree, and i will likely reduce the poly count by re building the legs and the tail over its existing geometry, to decrease the poly count and increase its general usage.

The texture on the legs on the demon doesn't really fit with the texture of the topology

well, as i said, it still needs tweaking. the contrast is up too high, so i'll make it a more neutral brown.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been working on paying stuff lately. Anyways, i just wanted you guys to know that you can pre-order the model pack per character at $6.50.

In order to purchase this first model (before its finished,) visit my blog at apothlegacy.blogsome.com and click on the orange donation button you see on the right side of the screen and donate $6.50 in US currency. Then send a copy of your reciept and the name of the model you are preordering to this email address: bananatechassets@gmail.com

I think that $6.50 is a great deal for the amount of work and detail i'm putting into them, and i hope that you do too!

and progress is moving along, slowly but surely. If i got a couple preorders, i'd be much obliged and would likely work faster, lol.

EDIT: progress shot, new texture for the legs, is it an improvement? i made it match the skin tone a bit more:

Nice job.

I like the leg textures better, they look more like fur now. Also, $6.50 is a very reasonable price (too bad my mom won't let me get it)

Keep up the good work.

I think he still need to texture the tail, it's white, but i'm not sure. It could be the pouch.

i need to texture the pouches, the tail, finish the hooves and then make a spec mapo and the body will be finished. after that i just need to texture the armor and he's finished for the most part, minus the animations.
