Yeah it's not one of those models your going to have a hundred of in a level, cause shes pretty specific, but I put the uv map to her in the installer, in case ya guys wanted to color her different or actually do an alpha trans for her hair. This model was before Bonds nurse and stuff, and to be honest at the time I hadn't though about using alphas for her hair, but I knew I wanted it more stylistic then like Aiko's hair.

Anyways. I know s4 had problems with a lot of our models but he wasn't around to test this before I threw it up. So if she's half in the ground or some odd deal, just let me know.

In a word, Yes.

This is not without some conditions though. We had a section where the outside presented problems we couldn't over come at the time(pre 1.06, but then other things popped up). After V2 gets released, which took a lot of time, and real life, We'll be returning to it, making both a version for x9 and x10. This is the plan anyways. New models and characters have been developed for it in the mean time. I still have some things to take off my "to-do" list, one being finishing the texture on Bullshocks char.

Glad to hear it's fine in Nvid. It used to be a pain seeing a model appear correctly in one machine and not on another. Been a wile since I'd actually opened up FPSC, nice to see this isn't a problem.

And yes Airslide...I thought that was being funny myself.

Nice Model. Thank you.
I was looking around the forum and did a search and did come up with a few answers but my main question is. On your weapons creator Do I have to make all the animations for my modeled weapon or will the creator wizard make them for me with a default FPSC weapons animation? and does the snap shot you take in the creator also create the hud and hands on weapon that you see in game?

Hardcore,
First off nice to meet you.

Secondly, I'm not the maker of "Weapon Creator". That title goes to Codemaster. I just believed in his product enough to throw him a little web space.

But, being a "Weapon Creator" user myself, I'll try to answer your question and remind you theres a link in the above flier for anything I may not be able to answer. Codemaster is pretty good about fielding questions.

Quote: "Do I have to make all the animations for my modeled weapon or will the creator wizard make them for me with a default FPSC weapons animation?"

You have to make your own animations. Sadly there are no "default" animation and things don't work like that. Characters can have "default" animations applied via the FPSC biped, but weapons are their own beast, and every weapon you see has it's own custom animations. You will need to know how to do these animations by some modeling application, some of which are free, to costing as much as an old Harley. This can not be avoided.

Weapon Creator simply takes the guess work out of adjusting the gunspec for the weapon your attempting to get in FPSC. Normally you have to keep adjusting the x and y coordinates until you get it positioned exactly where you want your mesh, and Weapon Creator simply allows you to see physically, like you would in FPSC, to do this adjustment.

Quote: "and does the snap shot you take in the creator also create the hud and hands on weapon that you see in game?"

No. This "snapshot" is simply the image you see for picking the weapon in the editor. Hands are a portion of the model, which is why you see no hands on the stock weapons for FPSC, and different versions of hands whether you use Jon's packs or Errants.

The weapons hud, has to be supplied by the maker and input as a value asked by Weapons Creator.

I hope this helped.
Though this does make things go much faster, there is no shortcut for the animation process.

Can any Mod chime in? Is Bullshock still around?

Sadly if Bullshock is gone, this will be the first time in my membership here, I have not done what I said I would do. Back in June, my daughter came to visit so I took some time off from completing Bshocks character, which he said was fine. Other projects had taken my time( I did a site for a man that gets 300,000 hits a month which paid sooooooo well and I needed it with a daughter in collage), and I never got back to it, but It's always been on my mind, as I've always done exactly what I've promised.

Some may look at this and think "Well it's just a dumb character.", but to me it was my word: Which I have never taken lightly either on this forum or in my real life.

Dang it

Quote: "Is this supposed to be a joke? There's no link!"

Heh. I'm not sure, but I may be the first person on this forum to actually use bb code to format a flier. I figured after my "C and C holiday story" thread most would know that links can appear seamless with a little creative dicing and image placement.

Figured most would get the "Click here to download", but sorry if this wasn't clear to some on the forums.(basically I'm making you click her butt, as she looks back kinda like "Hey there frisky")

@Inspire,
Hey it can't be all seriousness around here can it? Glad you got a chuckle.

@Hardcore,
Glad it helped

And thanks Fred...so I'm not officially off the hook yet, and can still plan on doing this.

Boy, Locrian, you seem to be known for making judgments that people who are relatively new are just retards.

You remember that argument don't you? Don't you wish everyone was as "smart" as you.

@rolfy,
She was never intended for the SinninSoul game rolfy. You're playing Kat, so you'd never see her in a low poly form. This model was always intended to be a promotional for CodeMasters app. Actually, CodeMasters app predates SS, and I liked the characters look so much I decided to make her the star of the game.

@Deathead,
Death I never use my models at the 80% that is default in FPSC. If your close to a character you always seem to be towering over it, making your character that your supposed to be playing like eight foot tall. Just adjust the "scale" in the FPE to 80% and not 100% to get the desired fpsc feel to this model.(From what I'm told this does not work with X10, as the scale has no effect, in which case you'd either have to adjust the model in a modeling app or not use her.)

@coffee grunt,
Actually, I'm not faithful to any...You'll often see me down at the bar shoving 1up's into Stormy, or Mocha's g-strings.

@conmon,
Um...lol. Man I thought I was saying sorry for not making it really clear how to get the download.

And what you called a "judgment", I call a "controlled evaluation based on said users actions".

That thread to me, and the other old dogs round here, was a perfect example of what not to do when making a request, being one, has been covered 2000000 times, and two, shows a users inability to understand the supposed 3500$ application they purchased.

Now as for why you puffed up like a banty rooster, I have no clue. As I said and can be seen, I was apologizing for not making it clear in this thread like I had the "C and C". Though I didn't see what got edited by the MODs, I personally don't see what you've said that warranted a slap in what is left above. To me thats simply your opinion, and I take no offense to it. A mention of "several" was made, and you not being someone I keep any tabs on, I'm sure what was done was just.

I'm sure whatever was said, that either option "D", was edited or not thought of.

In closing, I've never said people should be as smart as I. I am far from the smartest man on these forums. But what I do expect from people is a little "conmon[sic] sense".

Editorial Legend:
Sic is a Latin word, originally sicut meaning "thus", "so", or "just as that". In writing, it is placed within square brackets and usually italicized—[sic]—to indicate that an incorrect or unusual spelling, phrase, punctuation, and/or other preceding quoted material has been reproduced verbatim from the quoted original and is not a transcription error. Well glad you guys liked her. She's a bit old and not up to par for me anymore, besides the fact I had no reason to use her. Figured you guys could re-texture her or use her as is. Someone may as well have gotten some use from the model.
