Nice! If you used a simple script you could get a red light to glow whilst the laser was around the door, i.e. as if it was a glowy kinda laser.

Ohhhhh, this just made me remember. In Half-Life Opposing force, there is a part when these soldiers cut down a door to get to you. Great idea.

I didn't need a decal, or the source, it's a model that I animated to move around a door.

reanimateing the door would be cool as well to fall forward instead of disappear. Great job and idea BTW.
