i thought i should post a few free websites hosts here for anyone looking to show off their game and to sell them or just to show of your creative skills.

1.Free Webs
http://members.freewebs.com/

info: (provided by freewebs not my own opinion)Manage Your Site
The Site Manager is your tool chest to control your site. Use it to create new pages or update old ones, to control how they look and how they’re organized. Not a code-geek? No worries. You don't need to know HTML to build a great-looking site.

Opinion: Honostly free webs suck, sure its easy to use but in the end you just get a basic website very basic and it really does nothing for your products it actually downgrades the look of them yes i know members of these forum use it but i will show far better easy to use hosts because i used to free webs too but it wasn't getting me any where

2.Spruz(or clan site manager their both the same)
http://www.spruz.com/
Test Site(Not official i did this):http://test651.spruz.com/main.asp

Info: Spruz allows you to create a free website of your own. Be a part of a large interactive website community.
Create your own free website for social networking, promoting your ideas, shopping! You decide the features you want to use!

Opinion: Spruz is very good it allows you to create a good looking site very easily plaently of features and tools already on it and you create a site in minutes and still have it looking good also includes shopping and a subscription you can charge members with.
the community is also great and helpful and this is always updated

3.110mb
http://www.110mb.com/
Info: Here's your chance to create and grow your website on one of the most endorsed free web hosting providers online -- that'll never show a single ad on your website!

Opinion: (haven't tried this so this isn't my opinion although the no ads looks promising)This free web space hosting site is the best! I have had it for over 1/2 a year and the web server has only crashed once. They have the best forums where you can get all of your questions answered within an hour. I currently pay absolutely nothing and have a great site hosted by them. I may eventually pay a bit for PHP and SQL support, but I am okay with what I have for now. They have very fast servers. Anyone who has moderate (meaning almost none) knowledge of HTML can create a great website here. They provide a bunch of webspace, so much that I have only used up about 1% of it! Again, the forums provide answers to most questions within an hour. They have never had any problems except this one time. They constantly get new features. Visit their homepage for more info. There is no better host (free or paid) better than 110mb.

Can't give rating

3.Tripod
http://www.tripod.lycos.com/
Test Site(mine):http://shadow651.tripod.com/

Info:Couldn't really find any

Opinion:i haven't tried much of this but what i seen whats good enough plently of features and options in there although don't expect your site to look like the mona lisa just take a look at the test site to figure that out

Rating

4.Great Nuke(there is a slightly better one but i forget its name)
http://greatnuke.com/
Test site(mine although i don't remember making it):http://firesquad.greatnuke.com/

Info: Subdomain: http://portalname.greatnuke.com/
Over 200 skins to choose
Over 15 languages support
Unlimited posts, bandwidths, and size
Complete control over your own portal
Your own CUSTOM headers!
Full member control
And all other features that come with ANY PHP-Nuke standalone download
Free support via support forums at http://www.freeforum.ca/forums/

Opinion:A great host if you want a great looking site and easy to use this is it although i don't(not sure)there is a shop in it there is a large number of themes for you to choose from as well making a great site only problem is that you haven't got a hope in hell of this thing being updated with new stuff unlike spruz.

5.UnlHosting
http://unlhosting.info

Info:300mb,10gb Data Transfer,5 mysql DtaBases,5 add-on domain,5 sub domain,Pop emails

opinion:A good webhost that is able to create a great webpage with lots of freedom on how you want everything run the only thing is with freedom there going to difficulties for someone with no knowlegde on how sites work although this is easily and quickly learned. It using vista Cpanel which is extremly easy to use all you really need is a FTP tool, plantly of choices on what to install on you site as well.

6.Zymic
http://www.hosting.zymic.com

Info:At Zymic we offer free web hosting, with a level of professionalism any paid web hosting company offers, along with a full range of free hosting features.

We pride ourselves in being one of the most reliable and feature packed free web hosting services on the net. Our free hosting features include PHP/MySQL, free domain names, Ad-free hosting and an overly generous disk and transfer allowance. Zymic.com's free web hosting is ideal for personal and business websites.

Opinion: Again like Unl it will be difficult for the beginner but again you get a lot of freedom but the thing that made it stand out for my was a domain they give away free .com, .net, .org and .info IF you have
* Attractive unique website layout design
* Quality web content and information
* Been hosted with Zymic for 30 days
it doesn't say how long you get it for but its really a bargin for a free host.
also there is some great tutorials availble on the forums.

Look:
Ease: (its easy with the tutorials)
Features:

Overall: (the free domain just had to get it a 5/5)

7.Weebly
www.weebly.com
Info:create free blog

* Create a website & blog
* Switch designs on the fly
* Drag and drop interface
* Buy a new domain instantly, or
* Host your existing domain for free

Opinion:I like the whole drag and drop idea i tried out the live test thing on their homepage and there seems to be a lot features you can put on your site including youtube or google videos which might be of your game i aslo seen that you can place ads on your website that could mean theres a revuene system where the more hits(or clicks on the ad)will generate money for you.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
For ease of use get great nuk or spruz but for freedom to have waht you want on your site get Unl or Zumic

Office Live
www.officelive.com

Firstly, ignore the name - "Office" live has just about nothing to do with Microsoft Office, except for the fact that you can use FrontPage to design your sites with the paid version.

Microsoft office live comes in three flavours, and the one I'm gonna be mentioning here is the Free version ("basics").

Buy signing up, Microsoft will, as long as you stay with them, always pay for a domain name. They'll give you hosting and a basic website designer. Don't forget, this is for free. So you get a free domain name and free site (i.e., like my site - www.ciphersoftware.co.uk - currently under reconstruction though).

There are no adverts or anything.

The only downside, is that you only get about 15mb hosting space. So to host your game files, you should use something like filefront.

Currently Office Live is undergoing a massive rehaul, so if you get to the site and it says it's not available, its because they're doing loads of work on it throughout January 2008 to make it better for everyone.

I use spruz. Used to use freewebs but compared to spruz freewebs sucks. Spruz comes out with an update like every week. Just released version 1.70. Used spruz for 5 months now and love it. They have dedicated staff. They also have tones of themes.

Freewebs has always been the best for me. I've got several websites hosted by them and they're all great! Incidentally, I've simultaneously lost all sense of modesty!

@Pus In Boots, Freewebs is good, but recently they've been forcing a banner on your site and they won't let you take it off. That's why I left Freewebs. I went to Zymic, and they have a lot more features and no ads. Period. Just a thought.
