I'm new to fpsc and cant find how do i make a pitch black room. The idea is so when i add a light marker in a corner of a room or middle of tunnel it only iluminates around the light marker and rest is pitch black.

Go to Build Game, and in Global Script there is an Ambience box, next to that is a number in another box, click in the box and edit your ambience to suit your level....

For absolute pitch black in ambience do what coffee grunt said and then put 0 in for pitch black.

Or, whilst testing the game, press < and > to turn the ambience up or down.

Well, even if the room were textured completely black, the ambience of the level will still cause seems to appear where the walls meet the floor.

I would suggest turning your ambience way down (maybe not to 0, but pretty far down), using the black texture, and start adding lights around your level.

Not only will you get a completely black room, but it'll give your game a better feel with lights around it.
