Hello Everyone. I was thinking of developing a website for our community featuring FPSX9 and FPSX10 games. I was going to set it up similar to a myspace/youtube setup of course with a gaming look. This will allow a user to register and than setup a page advertising his or her game showing screenshots, videos, description, game download etc… We can host the game downloads also if it is needed. Please let me know if this interests our community and I will get something setup. Also if this is a go and you guys like the idea, we can list some requests here about what else will be needed during the development process. Keep building guys, as the games are looking great. Any feedback would be great.

No problem there, plenty of BW. I do have a jamroom License and was going to tweak it to allow videos and stuff and gear it to gaming rather than music. I have never used the license so maybe this is the time. once setup and tweaked it runs real good. Or I can also create my own script but Jamroom has a bunch done already just need to tweak. Plus the goal is to get up as many user games as we can. So unless people are against using a licensed jamroom script I will start tweaking that and can release at the end of the month. This will allow us to host download for people who can't and will advertise everyones games on the site free of charge to help spread the work of FPSC and FPSX10. I hope users will find this usefull

Hey MetalKill, this sounds like an awesome idea. I'll be sure to post my game I'm working on up there when the site is finished.

@gunn3r

Nice... I am setting it up to feature pictures and videos rather than music as this system is made for. Once that is done and I customize some stuff she will be ready to go. Rating systems and featured developers will be features. It will be a feeling of a myspace/you tube for the community.

Thank man. Just want to help the community out anyway I can. This will allow the users to have a space to showcase their games. They can even add there own code and sell the games if needed. Or jsut create an account showing the videos for the games...

@Keo C

OK, I can have you test the scripts out when we finish configure them. Thanks man, that will help a bunch!

@Cipher Software
Nice, I think they are similar but also very different. I am just going to feature the games and music with rating systems and such. Also going to have it setup similar to mysapce and you tube with a game twist. Our scripts are also done and testing them out now. I think they both can work and help the community. We can link each other also and help each other. Seems your is also a bunch of models and multiplayer. Nice! Can't wait to see it.

Good luck with your project - I hope to see more of it and the site soon!

@Snipesoul
Thanks man. Should be loads of fun. Just trying to create a youtube/myspace for our community. Should be finished soon.

@Keo C
NP, will email you the link when it is ready. You will be the first to test. Thanks Keo!

I am doing something similar to this but it's for the development part instead of showing it off. I host teams and a development program that allows people to manage their teams better. It's free along with some other services.

metalkill,

If you just want a text link, I'll put it up on the links page tomorrow. If you like, send me a 120x120 gif image and the url you want it to point to, and I'll put it on the main page. You can see some examples on the right side of my home page.

There are some linkback gifs on my links page (or there is a link to them on the links page) if you're interested, but it's not necessary.

Best.

@Keo C

Almost there. have to configure the video feature of the system. When it is finished I will send you the link.

@xplosys

I will get a banner for you. I am going to ad you as a text link where it is now and a mini banner the same size and a bigger one as I will also feature your site in the middle on the front page... All good man

I'd be interested in including something like this in the Network section of my yet-to-be-released main site. I'll get with you later.
