they probably didn't set Vista to allow XP programs properly.....

Or they were just complete idiots...

Right click and hit properties. Select run in Windows XP Service Pack 2 mode.

It'll work beautifully after that.

...works fine on Vista, but it can get a little weird.

Vista wants to create what's called the VirtualStore. It'll stick all of the generated .bin and .dbo files in there, instead of leaving them in the entity's folder.

It's on the C:. Take a root around, and you'll find VirtualStore\Programs\The Game Creators\FPS Creator. Follow the tree just like normal, and you'll find the files.

X9 hums along nicely on my Vista machine.

Thanks,

Seth Black

Therefor I install all my XP programs on my D:\ Disk... So Vista gives me to problems with moving files somewhere else.

...it moves the files to that location, as a way of organization, I believe.

My files were installed to the default location on the C:.

Your installation to the D: would most likely still end up placing the .bin and .dbo files in the VirtualStore location, already mentioned.

It is, Maybe it is because my System runs on a dual boot? I installed it on XP, and Vista just uses the same files(FPSC does not need a registry entry)
