fpsFREE.com, with the "go ahead" from TGC, will be compiling a "FPSC Desktop Collection" of scenes from the forum users. The images will be marked as seen in the example below, compiled into a collection, and distributed on fpsFREE.com. The collection can be used for desktop backgrounds, rotating image screensavers, or just to show off your talent. The number of images in the collection will depend solely on the number and quality of images you provide.
Everyone is encouraged to submit their best FPSC scenes. Please submit your image in jpg format at 1024x768 resolution. You may upload your image here, host it where you wish, or send it to me via my mail link below. Along with your image, please provide a SHORT (not more than 20 characters) descriptive title, and your name to appear on the top right of the image. NOTE: For those who need help with screenshots: You can take a snapshot while in-game, either in test mode or normal game play, by pressing the F12 key. If you are in test mode, the screenshot will be automatically saved in the "FPS Creator" folder. If you are in a compiled game, the screenshot will be automatically saved in the game folder.
Open the screenshot in your favorite image editor (MS Paint will work just fine and is included with any version of Windows) and on the file menu select "Save As...", change the "Save as type:" to jpg, give your image a name, and click save.
