Yayy! Gotta new Graphics card and 1 GB RAM as an Early-ish Birthday present....

The Graphics card is a Geforce 5200, Not exactly X10 stuff, but it's running my computer alot better now....

Does anyone else have a card like this? What are your views on FPSC performance rate,etc....

(Oh,BTW, my old card was an Intel Graphics 900, so this one is greater by far compared to that.)

the 8400gs can be found for under $40 in the us and it doesn't suck that much... played crysis at medium to high settings on it, at 800x600...

I used to have a 5200. Most games were fine but FPSC wasn't all that great - although upgrading from the intel card it's probably going to be WAY better. Of course now I have an 8800 - I need to go buy something like Crysis just to test its potential

My work computer has a 5200 in it, and it runs FPSC just fine.

That's pretty good.
I would never had guessed that.
I would have thought you would at least need an 8600.

Crysis had my 8800gt so hot I thought I smelled smoke!
But then again, I lost track of time and had been playing for hours. (or was it days?)
Oh well, I just went back to 2142 Battlefield, because that doesn't overheat the card.
I like 2142's multiplayer levels better anyway.

I dunno, did you get it as a set or have it built for you, or have you upgraded it lately?

You can check the box it came in, or if you've got XP, go to start->Run->DXDIAG.exe....

It'll bring up all of your specs....

Don't know really....

But if you look at the 2nd post, a guy with a 9250 posted saying it wasn't much good so I'd guess yours is better, but only a little....
