or, if you want a windows looking GUI (for applications) buy BlueGUI.

Thank you both for your replays. I will check them out. I also noticed BlueGui myself here on the site just now, as well as the extend pack wich includes a lot of other cool stuff i need like the sky system. They are are not to expensive either.

I have found that many of the free ones don't work very well for me, so I just invested £20 and bought GUI Studio, great piece of software.

To be fair, it all depends on what type of GUI you want. If you are looking for something you are going to use in an editor then I'd go for the Windows style BlueGUI. But if you want something that you can fully customize for things such as a game HUD etc. then go for GUI Studio.

Looks really nice

I will be using the editor to make a menu for my game as well as the user interface ingame.

So far i have been using images for my interface and it works great, by just checking where on the screen the mouse button is clicked you can easy interact with the buttons, of course its a little more time consuming than using an editor but gives me more challenge. And at the same time i am able to learn more about coding in dbp

Hi Dritt

Personally I'd recommend the BlueGui DLL as once you know how to use it its very versatile.

The default Gui Editor that comes with it, (Rainbow), is not that good, but i have a VisualBasic Style editor for it which i'me currently doing.

This image, (linked above), is the Editor i've made which will hopfully be coming out in the coming months, it was fully made on DarkBasic using the BlueGui DLL, so it should give you an idea of the things you can do in DarkBasic with Practice
