Hey, guys. I am going to start making a full game. I've made about three before, so I do know what I am doing. Anyhow, the plot of the game is that you are a member of a S.W.A.T. team sent to stop a hostage situation in a neuclear powerplant. However, while you and your team are in a secure, radiation free location in the powerplant, one of the terrorists causes the fuel rods to leak, spilling hazardous radiation into the nearby city. You radio your HQ. Bad news, the only accessable part of the city is across it. Can you make it to the evacuation site before the zombies get you? here are some screens of a warehouse I am working on.

NOTE: ETA is Estimated Time of Arival

Dude that looks awesome, very impressive!
But its too much space for one level, or is that just some part of level 1?
Anyway it looks so good.

I'm amazed. You need a few entities in the center but other than that, it's great!

thanks, the way I see it, instead of having small scourges of light within a level, and having a lot, it is better to use only a few large scources. Even in indoor levels. Really, you have to be origional with segments and ways to make rooms, but entityplacemeant is key. Everything in the room, though is static, that way the light maps work right. thanks for the comments. Keep them comming.

ok guys, the room looks nice, thanks for the comments. However, i gave a question. well, one door is locked, so the player hases to open the other one. When he gets about ten feet into the room, music starts playing and NPCs spawn behing the player and run through the two garage doors. However, when they spawn, they are invisible or they spawn too far to the right. can anyone help, I will search after this post, though. Also, entities have meen added to the center, but they are small, to give the area a vast look. Thanks again guys and keep the posts rolling.

It currently doesn't have an official date but it is still being worked on (not by me, but I'm a beta tester for it).

anyhow, I do have dx10 (When penguins go Mad), but it sometimes crashes and model pack three is released, but unfiniched. In fact, I have a thread complaining about many faults that Lee overlooked in releasing the product. So, until it is perfected, I can do nothing.

I have a nice pc I guess. They are all static, so they lightmap correctly. The shelves are three entities each, so they testure right. anyhow, my pc is windows vista home premium, quad core, 4gb RAM, 1TB Total hard drives. Other than that, I don't know why i don;t get anerroe, besides, it only says that there are 118 thigs to light map.

WOW! I just spent the past few hours uninstalling fpsc and trying to reinstall, but I didn't have the CD so I had to go through several password restores to get the email that let me restore my password that let me get my email that told me how to ftp fps creator that let me get it. Anyhow, I got the update. it uses DarkSI in a beta form, and it is amazing. Even thogh it is in the beta form, it astonished me in the iprovemeant of the cheracter's AI. Now every enemy attaks me in the room I am making, not one at a time. thanks TGC!

yeah, they are mostly the same as before. there are a few modifications, such as the enmies spawn behing the boxes and the garage doors open and enemies follow waypoints before they shoot. Look at the demo, to finish the level, you must backtrack to where you started. It will make a good level bridge. Does anyone know of a script that will make the enemies spawn croucned and then stand up and shoot? I will search, but I just thought that I would ask. Mree pics soon.

Very good detail. You should add some sheets of paper and other sorts of trash randomly around to give it an even better look

What was the download for? I tried it and it certainly didnt look like the screenshots? It was just a maze of the same segment with spaced objects around, the level design was nothing compared to the screens you've shown, have I missed something?

also, this is a dynamic entity that is set to immobile=no. then I applied the free shader from the TGC Newsletter and this looks great. It waves and moves like real lava. this is a very nice shader.
