A shameless self-advertisement here-some of my models that you can find in the FPSCreator shop. They are all custom built for your pleasure and easy on your budget (none for more than 200 pts). As an example i picked my jungle camp series but there's lots and lots more like cars and machinery and even more buildings. Drop by and have a look....

200 point would be $2.00, every point = $0.01 I believe.

Tanya, when you download the 1.09 beta it includes the shop and i think it is already possible to buy points from the TGC Website. It is definitly worth a look since there are around 1000 new models in there including my humble models. Hope to serve you soon and thanks for your cheerful compliment on my models. Btw the models will all be on sale seperately so you can just buy what you like/need....

I bought your industrial models. They are great quality at a fairly low price. They are great in-game. Thanks for posting them!

@gunn3r: thanks for your purchase, glad you like my stuff.

@Tanya: Sorry, but right now my models are exclusively available in the store, but maybe I figure out other ways to sell them in the future.
The point system is, as i get it, fairly easy: you buy points just after you logged into the store with the same email/password combination you use here on the forum. The "buy points" button is down on the left. You pay via paypal or worldpay and soon as TGC delivers your points to you you see them in a little box on the bottom. Then you can fill your basket with what you like and that is about it...

I bought your hut, and some of the jungle camp models. Am pretty un-impressed with the crane, but nice jungle crap

What exactly is it that you dislike? I'm always willing to improve my next models based on the crits!

Well, the main thing that i'm not fond of is:

If you look at the metal neck of the crane, you can't see the metal girders on the other side of the neck.

For some reason it doesn't work in 3d world studio, which is what i bought it for

That is because the normals of the neck all face outwards and you technically look at the backfaces inside the neck which are not rendered by the engine. A possible workaround for this would be to place another set of faces inside the neck which would look better but would on the other hand add on the polycount. Will definitely keep this in mind for my next models....

Well, how about the 3d world studio thing? (BTW the mesh looks terrible in Wings 3d)

how did you fix the collision problems?

on my models you just fall through or you stop you half way up the ramp its very irritating!

i have a tree top hut/bunker style monkey run and its rended useless ;(

Good to hear you got it working there. I knew it works in FPSC but it is good to see that it can be put to good use in other apps as well!
