Change log

Replaced the installer with a .zip file.

New uptade! Score system added!

Current Version : 1.1

STATUS : Finished

The game is named Bloxadoom, my very first game made in Dark Basic Pro. With questions answered from the Newcomers area i would like to thank everyone who helped me out.

The game is very very simple, you are a box in the bottom of the screen, your mission is to avoid any incomming "evil" doom blox that falls down from the top of the screen, when the player thouches the "evil" doom blox the player dies.
Some better features will be included in due time.

the sounds are downloads from free soundeffect sites. The incredibly annoying music track is made by me with midi maker.

Things done/not done:

Legend :
: done
: working on, next version
: Not done, later version
: Crapped

Graphics :
Player movement :
Enemy falling down, respawning :
Player contact enemy = dead :
Music and sound :
Score system :

There we go, i got a demo here of the first version. In about 250 lines of code.

The demo is in the attachment, in a install file. Hope you like it and i welcome all comments and feedback. I will do my best to push this game further. If any problems occur, post here.

Excuse the title of the .exe file, it was originaly a test program.

It would probably be better to post a non-installer version

I aggree, its much easier to play if you dont have to go through installing. You might get more downloads if you post a zip.

Looking good! I like the idea, like asteroids but without the shooting.

@Jeff : I'll do that

@Kaedroho : installer replaced with .zip And thanks!

@Cyril : It seems like you have died since that's the game over screen (Unfortunatly).

Is it possible that the game takes a long time to load and shows up just when you die?

Undying was awesome indeed. This looks good, too, by the way.

A mod has been erased by your signature because it was larger than 600x120
