i have fpsc ( not x10)
when i run it on vista (32 bit) everything seems to run ok until i change the lighting, it just doesnt do anything.
ive run as admin and in xp compatabily mode, but nothing.
is there a patch for it.

i dont want x10 as i dont have an 8 series card ( geforce 7900 gs)

any ideas??

If you ahve fps creator version 1.7 (I think) or later, the lightmaps are saved to a file that can be quickly read for the next test game. this way, you don't have to spend two minutes creating lightmaps every time, It just reloads all of the saved textures. this entire process is made for convenience. Sometimes you may need to reload another level to reset the file and make new lightmaps. Then reload the level that you are having trouble with. Try that first.

no worries.
just install the 1.09 update....works great, now to make a really crappy game and feel goodabout it ( turn the lights down and no one can see my crap moddeling skills lol)

i need to buy 2 video cards, i just find it better to have fpsc on 1 pc and x10 on another

Or you could install Vista on your PC, put x10 on the Vista part, and switch between the two.

i just installed the latest patch.
run the program with xp compatability.
and run as administrator.

everything now works fine.
turn down the ambient lights and just use dynamic lighting,ooooohhh.....ive waited for so long for this.
