Great game from what I can tell
The bandwidth on the site is horribly low (got about 40kb/s average) but I can deal with that.
I wasn't able to play for long because my keyboard won't register Up and Left at the same time (for some god awful reason)
I'm running Vista and got the game to run just fine after downloading "d3drm.dll" and slapping it into the system folder.
Some C+C for you:
- The turning animation seemed a bit hard-wired and illogical as simply tilting a hovercraft doesn't seem like it would do a whole lot. Perhaps consider turning the ship slightly as well based on speed.
- The screen right before the race starts was a little confusing. It showed my ship and a little yellow bar and a background and nothing else. I'm ASSUMING the screen was for adjusting your ship to be more biased towards speed or acceleration, but couldn't say for sure, and it took me a bit of clicking around to get it to go on to the race. I may attribute this to me being on Vista, but I 'unno.
It's awesome, and I'm right now looking around for a keyboard that WILL work because this "no up+left" has been getting on my nerves for a while.
Five stars for you!
