Don't buy this program wait until they add the option to scale your
Model to fit the default skeleton.

Your model needs to be scaled to the right size before you import your model to Character Shop.

What is the right size, who knows. I tried resizing my model first its hit and miss
Until all your hair is pulled out you might get it right.

! Note this would be a good animation program if it had a scale model option.

Download a Trial Version before you buy to see the no scale option

Wait...Download the trial so I can see an option that doesn't exist?

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, like they should be.

yes that makes sense

ive tried it but theres no support at all i prefer milkshape but i havent succesfully imported a character (always something screws up)

They should ask bond for some of his rigs or the option to import other rigs. That would pretty much eliminate milkshape from the lineup since theres near enough no chance of of a noob screw up... eg wrong export options or something stupid along those lines

It's basically a bad Milkshape clone without any 3D modeling capabilities and one single bad skeleton. It has SOOO many frames, if you include 12 animations your model comes out to be something like 10mb. I had one model with 20 animations and DBP would crash when it loaded it. It's because there are too many frames of animation. It's not necessary. DX will automatically interpolate between keyframes.

Moral of the story - just buy Milkshape. If you have Ultimate Unwrap 3D then you can use any skeleton from animated 3D models for rigging.

Well, I use many more animations than that. For a model with 15 animations I expect it to be around 1mb. With Character Shop it was 23 mb. I had forgotten it was that big.

You can remove the animations you don't want, but to do it you actually have to remove the file that contains that animation. The walk animation looks dumb on top of everything else.
