Sorry guys, am really very new to this, and being quite old, I am not perhaps as familar as you youngsters are with file types, but.....

When i create a landscape using T.ED, what do i need to save it as or export it as so i can USE it in FPSC? I believe it should be an x file, but where in T.ED does it allow you to do this?

Sorry....If someone can provide step by step instructions, and please ensure its not too technical, but simple steps so i can understand, i would be REALLY grateful.

Thanks for your help......please

Hey mate welcome to the forums have fun and so on.

But in future use the search box at bottem of every page it usally gives you an answer

1.You must export as .x format DirectX that is

2. Then download this file unzip to fps creator folder

3. Then you need to put the .x file and any textures in the "files/entitybank/user" folder

4. Then run the exe from the zip file you downloaded i suggest you watch the videos that come with it before you start will help.

Need more help then just let me know.

PS the logo in your signature needs to be this

Copy and paste that into sig bar and it will work

Thank you for the welcome and thank you for the information.

However....when i export props as a BIG x file as it says, and then run the entity maker....it reports this error:

Runtime Error 7018 - Could not load 3D object at line 49

Any ideas please?

Thanks....have tried several times....still the same error.

Anyone else with an idea please? Either T.ED is faulty or it doesnt do what it says on the tin, which is very frustrating as I bought this program so i could use terrains in FPSC.

Is there another terrain program that DOES work with FPSC ???? If not, then....not much point creating games on a flat plain boring world is it?

grrrrrr
